We started The Great White Shirt to answer a question we couldn't shake: why does the most fundamental piece of any wardrobe receive so little attention? Brands chase trend; we chose tenure. We chose two cloths and made them honestly — Egyptian cotton from Porto, mulberry silk from Como — cut for men and women in five precise sizes, finished by hand at a small mill that has been doing this for forty years.
Buy one. Wear it Monday. Wear it again on Friday. The shirt will outlast the seasons, the trends, and most of what hangs beside it. That is the only ambition.
